Partner to Learn
EVHS not only offers academics and electives in our classrooms, we partner with Imagine Edgenuity to give our students the option of learning on-line in our computer lab. Work at your own pace under the guidance of one of your teachers. It’s a flexible, personalized approach that also gives you the chance to be an active member of our larger school community.
Earn college credit through our partnership with Mesa Community College. Take college classes while attending EVHS and get a head start on higher education. Or prepare for a career by taking foundational courses in fields like commercial baking, early childhood education, and emergency medical services through East Valley Institute of Technology.
Students can work toward a CNA certification by taking coursework that prepares them for the State exam. They also earn an elective course credit.
Partner to Perform and Participate
EVHS partners with the Canyon Athletic Association to run our competitive athletics program. Participating in sports promotes teamwork and sportsmanship and helps student-athletes become confident, contributing members of our school community. This year we’re offering girls’ volleyball and boys’ basketball.
Many of our students perform in East Valley Children’s Theater productions in our performing arts center. Junior Bryghton Tauscher ‘25 has been nominated for an AriZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for her performance in East Valley Children’s Theatre’s Beauty and the Beast.
